ABOUT ENVISION
Envision Family Services, LLC. was established in May 2010 to offer services that are client centered, yet family focused.
We are committed to being guided by respect, ethics, dignity, integrity, and compassion. Our professionalism, cultural sensitivity, social awareness, and advocacy for our clients will set standards and maintain a consistent theme of “family centered approach.”
The agency upholds healthy working relationships with several agencies within the Hampton Roads area. We work closely with Maryview Children Behavioral Health, Department of Social Services, Public School Systems and Community Services Boards.
Our agency offers realistic alternatives to inappropriate behaviors caused by psychological and environmental factors. We utilize an empowerment approach to our ecological method of treatment. Our goal is to assist consumers with maximizing their internal resources to achieve positive outcomes.

Envision Family Services, LLC. strives to be a valued and respected organization empowering individuals and families by providing the most effective clinically based mental health treatment and services. We aspire to form partnerships with community-based resources, to aid in our efforts of improving the lives of individuals and families. Once adequate supports are provided, individuals can become self-reliant and make informed decisions, which will maximize their independence.

SERVICES
THERAPEUTIC DAY TREATMENT
Therapeutic Day Treatment services work closely with the school, family, and youth to stabilize student’s behavior in the classroom and prevent placement in a more restrictive educational setting. Our clients are school aged youth. Services include stabilization, academic assistance, linkage between family and school, participation in IEP (individualized educational plan) development, and behavior modification planning. Therapeutic Day Treatment intends to maximize the potentials of participants by encouraging academic success while improving community and living skills.
THERAPEUTIC SUMMER CAMP
Envision Family Services offers an annual summer camp program. Participants will be involved in a variety of cultural enrichment activities, experimental learning and academic development, therapeutic recreation activities and community integration. Our enrichment program provides opportunities to build skills, character, creativity, and self-confidence through expressive therapeutic recreational activities, and other clinical treatment modalities. This program will help students maintain the emotional and behavioral therapeutic gains learned throughout the school year.
INTENSIVE IN-HOME SERVICES
Intensive In-home services are provided primarily in the home to stabilize families in crisis. Our clients are youth, ages 5-17. Services include intensive individual and family counseling, 24 hour crisis intervention, cases monitored by licensed therapists, DSM-IV diagnosis, psychological evaluation (as necessary), individualized treatment plan, family stabilization, and case management.
ANGER MANAGEMENT
Our anger management program offers support, education, and intervention to help youth and their families learn to manage anger and conflict through positive means that promote harmony and bonding. Our program assists family members in expressing themselves through assertive communication, conflict resolution, and healthy outlets. By increasing the ability to identify and express underlying thoughts and emotions in appropriate ways, clarify values, and increase coping skills, clients are helped to establish and maintain positive relationships. Our clients are youth ages 5-17. Services include individual counseling, age-specific, group sessions, crisis intervention, and parent training.
